Yes absolutely! We welcome babies and children and the local sandy beach of Haad Salad is very popular with families with young children. We can provide cots/additional child’s bed and cots upon request (additional fee applies).

Is there cable tv?
Yes all villas have cable tv.

Is there air-conditioning?
Yes there is air-conditioning in all the rooms.

We want to hire a car or scooter?
We do advise you to hire a car/scooters to get about the island and we will put you in touch with a car rental company we recommend. All their cars are fully insured and they can drop the car off at the villa for you.

Can we take taxis?
Yes if you walk down to the coast road there are plenty of tuk tuks (open air taxis) going past and you can just jump in- (you will hear the beeps!). Otherwise, we have the number for a taxi company we use and you can pre-book taxis to pick you up.

What activities are there in Koh Phangan?
Many people do not want to the leave the comfort of their lounger for the duration of their stay but if you do there is plenty to keep you occupied. From the beach you can go canoeing, snorkelling, diving, or stand up paddle boarding or take one of the many boat trips around the island. There are also several kite-surfing schools on the island. There are plenty of yoga classes running on the island- both drop in and longer courses. There are bike trips around the island, cookery coursers, mini- golf, a canopy tree top adventure and a high speed water slide for those looking for an adrenaline rush.

How do we get to Koh Phangan?
There are frequent boats running daily from Koh Samui- we recommend Lomprayah or Sea Tran into Thongsala. We also have the details of a speedboat if you wanted to do a private transfer and their price includes the taxi transfer from Samui.

How do we get to the villa?
If you let us know near your arrival date what boat you are planning to catch from Samui our taxi will be there to meet you from the ferry and take you to the villa.

Do you have a private chef?
Yes we have the details of a private chef who can provide Thai meals in the villa and breakfasts upon request (additional fees apply).

Where do we get provisions?
You can pick up all basic supplies in Haad Salad. Otherwise, for a bigger shop, we recommend Big C or Makro in Thongsala.

Is it possible to have a massage/private yoga lesson in the villa?
Yes, we can arrange this for you (additional fees apply).

Is there a generator?
No, Bay villas do not have an independent generator and power cuts are a fact of life on a tropical island, particularly when there are storms. In fact, losing the power, lighting the candles and feeling the stillness descend around you are some of the charms of island life. The power cuts rarely last long but if they do there are candles and torches provided.

Is it suitable for elderly parents?
No. Please note that all Bay villas are located on a hill overlooking the Bay so are not suitable for those with impaired mobility.

Can we have parties?
No! If you are party-heads then Bay Villas are not for you and we suggest you look to Haad Rin. Haad Salad is a quiet, peaceful area of the island which is suitable for couples, families or groups of friends looking to relax.
We can accommodate small cocktail parties/wedding parties (surcharge applies). For details please enquire.
